Patients in Need
Today many disease states are treated with highly specialized medications. These fields have given us medical breakthroughs that have made significant impacts in the wellness of patients by creating specialty medications. Specialty medications are developed to treat the most complex, chronic, life threatening and rare disease states and are improving the effectiveness of treatment for multiple sclerosis, cancer, hepatitis, diabetes, HIV, and arthritis, among others and are restoring hope to the lives of patients. Specialty medications are expensive, and cost prohibitive for many patients, especially those on a fixed or low income, with limited or no prescription drug coverage.
